As a transpersonal psychologist and a licensed marriage and family therapist (MFT#53033), I have the training and experience to help you resolve trauma, develop a fulfilling sense of connection to yourself and others, and find joy and well-being in your everyday life. I am trained in EMDR and mindfulness, and I work with individuals, romantic relationships, and family systems.
Your creative work is only as deep and authentic as you are. Understanding psychological concepts and unblocking your own emotional wounding is imperative to gaining the emotional agility necessary for a successful creative career. As an artist you have a unique approach to life. Our work together will be unique, expansive, and based on sound psychological principles.
I work with writers, actors, and producers on films and television shows such as Handmaid’s Tale, Mom, Grey's Anatomy, Alexa and Katie, Panic and more to ensure character portrayals of mental illness are accurate and compelling and storylines are socially responsible. I also collaborate with all types of professional groups to encourage creative expansion and improve work flow.
The California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), where I serve 32,000 therapists as the Managing Director of Clinical Affairs, produced this video to support people who are struggling during the COVID-19 crisis.
I became a therapist and consultant because I was once hurting, and a therapist helped me to understand what was preventing me from moving forward. Now, it is my joy to support others in the same way. I feel passionate about helping creative people in all fields find personal happiness as well as reach their full professional potentials. My work with individuals and teams is collaborative, strength-focused, and individualized. I offer over a decade of specialized training and experience in clinical psychology, coupled with a deep understanding of what creatives need to thrive. Contact me for a free consultation. Wishing you wellness and success always.

As a proud alumnus of Sofia University in Palo Alto, I am excited to share the news that Deepak Chopra, MD, has been appointed Professor of Consciousness Studies at Sofia. I was fortunate to meet Dr. Chopra during my 2016 graduation ceremony. http://www.sofia.edu/stellar-faculty/
In 2014, I had the honor of attending the second annual East West Medical Conference hosted by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. It was a blessing to meet such a great spiritual leader. In the words of His Holiness, "Our primary purpose in this life is to help others. If you want to be happy, practice compassion."
